Spotify Playlist Submission Sites: Free vs Paid

Playlist submission sites look similar from the outside and work very differently underneath. Some are free, some charge for a curator’s time, some are marketplaces, and some run the campaign for you. This comparison sorts them by model, using what each site says about itself. One of the networks listed is ours, and it is labeled.

How we compared them

Every platform detail below comes from that platform’s own website or help center, checked on October 7, 2026, and linked in the sources. We have not tested these services against each other, so there are no rankings, acceptance rates, user counts or “best overall” verdicts, and prices appear only where the platform publishes them. Terms change; check the source before you pay for anything.

Disclosure: BVSS FVM operates its own playlist network (BVSS FVM and the in-house CuratorOS team). It is listed under free submission because that is how it works.

The four models

Most confusion comes from comparing sites that sell different things. Start by deciding which of these you are buying, if anything.

Playlist submission models

Free submissionNothingA chance to be heard; curators may not have to replySilence is normal. Fit matters more than volume.

How to choose

  1. Decide what you need

Reach on a small budget points to free submission. Wanting a reply on a deadline points to paid consideration. Help running a campaign points to managed promotion.

  2. Check the curators, not the platform

Whatever the model, a curator decides. Open their playlists and check fit before you spend anything, using this checklist.

  3. Read what the payment covers

Listening time, written feedback, a campaign? If any wording implies a placement in exchange for money, walk away.

  4. Pitch accurately

Honest genre, moods and comparable artists matter on every platform. These templates work anywhere.

  5. Measure the result

Use the Playlists view and source of streams in Spotify for Artists, not the platform’s own summary. Here is how.

FAQ

Common questions.

Which playlist submission site should I use?

We do not rank them. They sell different things, so the right choice depends on whether you want free submission, a response on a deadline, a marketplace or a managed campaign.

Is paying for playlist submission legal on Spotify?

Paying for a curator’s time to review is different from buying a placement. Spotify says paying for placement breaks its terms, and it advises high skepticism toward services that charge to be considered.

Do paid submissions get accepted more often?

We have no data to say so, and platforms that charge for consideration say you are paying for review, not results.

Is BVSS FVM a submission site?

It is a playlist network that accepts free submissions to its own playlists: BVSS FVM and the in-house CuratorOS team. It does not sell placement or charge for review.

What is managed playlist promotion?

A service runs a campaign for you, sending your song to curators it works with. Check who those curators are, what you are paying for and what is not guaranteed.
